Her mind seems bound-up by pattern.

Seamless. Deep pattern surface pattern redundant pattern ornate pattern rhythmic pattern paper-thin translucent pattern.

So she applies the random and the arbitrary.

And then her mind is consumed by disrupted pattern plunging pattern vacated pattern.
